Why we made the Tenfold
We made the Tenfold to answer a simple question: what if you love the ORU ecosystem and build quality, but don’t want to spend the full amount of a Bruin with all of its technology and complexity?
Customers asked for a simple, easy-to-use, lightweight camper with a queen-size bed, room for bedding and a massive view on one side. They didn’t need a camper as robust as the Bruin. They knew where they camped and what their priorities were. They wanted a super lightweight, easy-to-use wedge camper they could all but forget was on their truck until it was time to set up camp.
We took the existing tent frame from the Bruin and modified it to work with our Tenfold fabric system and wedge design. We kept everything people loved: the queen-size bed, room for both a 4" trifold mattress and your bedding, and a super easy-to-operate system. We also added a ladder pull-down strap, so as you pull the camper down you have levels instead of a mess of cord.

What the Tenfold is
The Tenfold is a traditional wedge-style pop-up. The roof lifts higher at one end and slopes down toward the other, which keeps it simple, light and low-profile when it’s closed. At around 275 pounds, it adds very little weight to your truck.
Simple doesn’t mean stripped down. You get a true queen-size sleeping platform, room to stand inside, and the convenience of leaving your bedding right on the platform when the camper is closed.

Setup: two latches and a light push
Every one of our campers is designed to be easy, and the Tenfold is the easiest of all. You are two latches and a light push away from a set-up camper. There’s no routine to learn and nothing to assemble. That matters more than it sounds. The camper you actually use is the one that’s easy to open at the end of a long day.

Why you’d choose the Tenfold
You want to keep weight down
Every pound you carry changes how your truck drives, and the Tenfold is the lightest camper we build. If you want a comfortable place to sleep without turning your truck into a different vehicle, this is where to start.
You want the lowest price
At $6,999, it’s our most affordable camper, and a great way into truck camping without spending a fortune. It’s also the starting point for a lot of DIYers who like to add to their setup over time.
You want your bed ready when you arrive
Because your bedding stays on the platform when the camper is closed, there’s nothing to dig out, fluff up or keep clean. After a long drive, the bed is already there waiting. No making the bed and no moving panels to get in and out. Just hop in and get the best night’s sleep you’ve had on the road.

You want to leave it on the truck
The low profile and light weight make the Tenfold easy to live with every day. It’s a great fit for people who want a camper they can leave on the truck for everyday driving.

A weekend with the Tenfold
Picture a short trip. You pull into camp after work on Friday, undo two latches, give the roof a light push and you’re set up before the sun is down. There’s a real queen bed waiting with your bedding already on it. In the morning, you’re up early for coffee and a sunrise. Sunday, you close it up and drive home in your everyday truck, with very little weight on the back.

That’s the Tenfold at its best: short adventures, solo trips and couples’ getaways, with almost no friction between wanting to go and being there.

Sleeping in the Tenfold
Most Tenfold customers sleep with their head toward the tailgate. It makes sense. You don’t want to wake from a bad dream about being late for work, sit up, and bump your head on the ceiling before remembering you’re on the adventure of your life. The tradeoff is that with your head toward the tailgate, it’s trickier to flip around and get out in the morning without waking the whole tent. If you’re taller, it can also be less comfortable than our full pop-ups.

What to think about
The wedge
Wedge campers are popular for good reason, but the roof slopes down toward one end, so you have less overhead room at the lower end of the bed. Some taller people find that area a little cramped, especially when sitting up or moving around in bed. For plenty of people it’s not an issue at all.

If you want more headroom, look at the Triton. For about $1,000 more, you get a full pop-up with much more consistent headroom throughout. That’s a small difference if you plan on spending a lot of nights in your camper.
If you’re tall
Sleeping in the Tenfold isn’t always as good for taller campers as it is in our full pop-up line: the Triton, Bruin and Bruin XL. The roof slopes down toward one end, so the lower end of the bed has less overhead room, and taller people can find it cramped near their feet when lying down. Every body and every truck is different, so if you’re tall, give us a call and we’ll talk it through. If you’d rather not think about headroom at all, the full pop-ups give you consistent headroom (and foot room) throughout.
Fabric walls
The Tenfold uses fabric pop-up walls. They’re lightweight and keep you connected to the outdoors, but they don’t have the solid, cabin feel of the hard walls on our Bruin models. If you camp year-round or through changing weather, look at the Bruin.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Tenfold comfortable for two people?
Yes. It has a true queen-size sleeping platform and room to stand inside. Couples taking shorter trips are one of its best fits.
Is the Tenfold good for taller people?
It can work, but sleeping isn’t always as good as in our full pop-up line. The Triton, Bruin and Bruin XL give you more consistent headroom throughout the interior. The Tenfold still has a queen-size platform, but the lower end of the wedge can feel cramped to taller sleepers.
Can I leave it on my truck all the time?
That’s one of its strengths. It’s light and low-profile when closed, which makes it practical for everyday driving.
Is it made in America?
Yes. We build every ORU camper in Vista, California, just north of San Diego.
