Slide-In campers feature a fully enclosed aluminum construction with sealed Arctic Tern doors and windows, EPDM gaskets, and zero exposed seams. The result?

The slide-in system is a blank slate for overlanders and DIY builders alike. Use the pre-installed hex floor and benches as the foundation for your custom layout—or let Oru’s upcoming accessory line outfit it for you. From gear panels and awning brackets to diesel heater kits and roof racks, our slide-in campers are fully compatible with most accessories from the Oru Gear Shop.

Want it simple and lightweight? Start with the base unit (as low as 400 lbs). Want it expedition-ready? Build it out piece by piece, exactly how you like it.

The interior of each Slide-In is thoughtfully laid out with a focus on usability and space:

  • Standard models include shorter side benches, a north-south queen platform

  • XL models offer wide 14" benches and a massive east-west queen platform

  • Hex plywood flooring makes mounting accessories a breeze

  • Full interior standing height with pop-up tents (Bruin, Tenfold, Bruin XL)

Rear doors vary by model but all feature screened, lockable entry for airflow and security.

One of the biggest advantages of the slide-in system? It’s self-contained and removable. Pair it with our new lift-off jack system, and removing or reinstalling your entire camper becomes a one-person operation. Store it for a season, then drop it back in and hit the trail—no need to disassemble or re-pack. Everything stays intact, ready, and dust-free.

Plus, the enclosed design and interior access offer superior insulation, weather protection, and versatility for year-round exploration.
